What can it do?
Search and Sort
Searching for books is easy with The Bookstore App. It defaults to the search page and give instant results. Search is base on book title, author and genre. There is also an option to sort the results by ascending or decending.
Stock Management
When a book is sold or returned, it is very easy to add or remove a copy of that book from the database. In addition, managers can adjust stock amounts directly after a new copies of a book arrives.
Trending Books
The home screen shows what books are popular and organizes them by category. This page keeps the users up-to-date on the latest books.
Price Adjustments
Managers can easily changed the price of books
User Accounts
User accounts can be created and removed by management. During creation, an account can be labelled as a manager, which give these new accounts management priviledges.
Forgot Password
If a user forgets their password, they can use the forgot password feature to access their account and set a new password.
Change Password
At any time, users can go into the settings and change their password.
Contact Us
The app contains a page that has all the info about how to get into contact with their bookstore.
Notifications
Managers get notified when the stock of a book goes below 10. This helps them order more stock without running out of a book. Managers also get notified when a book is completely sold out.
